It's not about the players you don't get, it's about the ones you do get.

Delete all these shitty "fan" threads that are anti-LSU tomorrow too.

I don't understand why everyone is losing their minds over a recruit that has been a strong bama lean for a long time now. I never expected to get Mathis. People are getting worked up over nothing

Optimism and pessimism are both welcomed, but I swear the doom-and-gloom when 1 kid, who everyone knew wasn't coming here, picks bad old bama. O has been killing it this offseason and his staff has been busting hump on the recruiting trail (sans Pete). You can't control or predict what these kids will do most of the time.

So seriously, chill the hell out.

Good luck tommorrow, Tiger fans. I'm a big fan of Coach O, and one thing he's always been good at is closing the deal on recruits. He's the reason USC got Sean Cody, and that kickstarted USC's success back in the early 2000's.

Here's hoping he does great things for y'all in Baton Rouge.

Couldn't agree more. People worry entirely too much about what we "miss". So of the recent greats have come from "misses".

With a 22-29 overall record. Take it for what it's worth (as he improved drastically since his Ole Miss days).

Oh yea I forgot he had the best D coord. and what some are considering a top O coord. Some of you must be unbearable in life.

I simply said that he had a losing record and stated that he has drastically improved since his initial head coaching job at Ole Miss.

Well, we did lose 4 games with that defensive coordinator (which I willfully admit is arguably the best in college football).

I hope so and am excited for the hire. That said, I (like 99% of LSU fans) haven't watched more than 1 quarter of Pitt football. We're hoping he turns out to be a great hire.

Which one of those was his fault? We just led the nation in giving up touchdowns for Christ's sake lol.

soooo how is lsu supposed to consistently win week in and week out with a light weight running back when lsu is been known as a running team, glad lsu got clyde. extremely happy but lsu offered a 5* and a 4* rb a scholly for 2018 and they barely in the 180s. so i really starting to doubt mr canada now. need a big hard bruiser unless lsu planning to throw 85 percent the time the next 4 or more yrs?
