Serious question: What rights do refugees have?

I am talking refugees not even in this country yet. Whether you agree or not, this latest EO simply restricts people from other countries coming here.
ACLU and others now want to protect the rights of refugees and immigrants.
These people have no rights that I am aware of, until they land on our soil. Even then, their rights are limited.
Is there some false narrative that there is a right to immigrate to the U.S.?

From what I saw yesterday(admittedly my following was sporadic), they were mostly concerned with those that were being detained at US airports. All of those presumably already had been granted Visas, which does entitle them to some due process rights. Some reports said Border Patrol agents were not allowing them to consult with attorneys.

The reality is they don't. Some people believe the moral thing to do is to help those in need from war torn countries. In a region we helped further destabilize over the last 16 years. Helping these peoole is what we should do. Unfortunately, some people are arse holes and would try and use the good will of the American people against them an do harm to Americans after gaining access to our country through a refuge program (although I'm pretty certain this has yet to happen. Could be wrong though).

covered under the Geneva Conventions, which are rife with loopholes

This I can understand, but this is a short-term issue with people being in limbo. Long-term, there are no rights issues at stake here.

They have the right to grow some nuts and fight for their country.

Politically this is probably a winner for the ACLU and their allies. Legally, they're on much shakier ground. The president has broad authority in this area. The refugees have no absolute right to be here and the government can revoke Visa, without cause, practically at will. The only leg the refugees and their supporters have is in demonstrating that the government is targeting specific religions, races, etc in denying entry. That's something we can't do.

I'm not talking human rights. I'm talking legal rights under U.S. law. Which is ZERO.

Constitutional rights? None, zero zip. They are not citizens.

They have no rights under our Constitution whatsoever unless they are on our soil.
All this outrage is orchestrated to undermine Trump, and the media is playing along.
Other presidents have acted in similar ways and there's been very little if any blowback, but since Trump is doing it the left and their media allies are playing it up for all its worth.
Apparently making America great, and putting Americans first is not what these people want. Instead foreigners now foreigners are somehow to be treated as equals to American citizens and given the same rights we all enjoy before they even get here.
It's a false narrative and its easy to see why Trump won and how out of touch these lefties are with most of America,

Why not? (I'm talking legally, not ethically).
Do our constitutional protections extend to people in other countries who have never come here?

And we aren't doing that. Muslims from other countries other than the seven named in the EO are able to come in; while non Muslims in the seven named countries can not come in.
It's plain as day what's going on here, Trump acted as have other presidents to a perceived threat and the left is making political hay out of it. At least they believe they are.

And there's the problem. The Left and the MSM intentionally blur the lines, and the civically uninformed by this BS hook, line and sinker.
