They didn't charge me when they put out a fire at my house. Truth be told, I was kind of naive about things like that and frazzled from the fire and straight up asked them when I should expect a bill. They just laughed and told me to have a better day and left. Good people.

Similar story for me, although it was from a broken pipe and not a fire. I asked the guy how much would the visit cost me, he said it was my tax dollars at work.
