He is great. I wish he would do a comedy or at least something on the silly side again. I love his serious side, but I miss some of his early funny stuff that he started out with.

This thread got me wondering how many Oscar's has he won. Just looked it up, I'm surprised to learn he didn't win best actor for SPR, he was nominated. He did win for Forrest Gump and Philadelphia.

Not all of that look is an act. He's on the Board of Directors for the WWII Museum in New Orleans & whenever there is an opening to another part, he's always there & always has something close to this look when talking about WWII. When the War in The Pacific exhibit opened up, he was near to tears.
