As somebody that didn't vote for either candidate in 2012 I wanted desperately for America to succeed. Instead I got worse insurance for higher premiums. An economy that is stagnant. More Americans than ever on food stamps and a doubling of the National Debt. FYI I didn't vote for Trump but so far I'm regretting that decision. He's doing a good job thus far.

I always want America to be successful.
I have been in the work force for 25 years and have been laid off twice under Obama. I was able to find work, but had to take a pay cut.

The vast majority who did not vote for Obama ... hoped for the best ... but braced for the worst.
We got the worst ... AND THEN SOME.
Hence, "MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN" struck a nerve with a great many people.
