Regardless of his motives, that's actually pretty cool. I would love that as a player.

You'd trade your coach for him in a heartbeat

Bitch about it while putting together a spring practice in Africa

Well yea, there are better athletes in West Africa. He can put a fence up on African recruits if he's the first to tap into that pool

80% of his players probably couldn't even point out Italy on a map.

Seems like those are the exact guys who could benefit from studying abroad for a bit.

Nah, as somebody pointed out, Bielema already had much more success in the Big 10 than Harbaugh probably ever will.

Going to Italy is a great learning experience and a lifelong memory.

The offense will be improved next year by talent upgrade alone. Defense will be a work in progress but we have a DC who has coached the number 1 defense two years in a row.

Most pre season rankings have them 8th or 9th. THat doesn't scream "brutal" to me.

Are you seriously arguing that arkansas fans would not trade beilema for harbaugh?

Do you realize that jim harbaugh walked into a much worse position at Michigan than BB did at arkansas? Harbaugh is 20-6 after two years. Beilema was 10-15.

He's been there two years.....

I'm sorry but you guys are just clueless at how atrocious the talent was overall on that starting offense. Jake Butt is the the only person starting on that offense that would start in an SEC offense.

Put that pile of shite in the sec west against elite defenses and it would win 2 conference games, no matter how good that defense was.

This board is quickly becoming unreadable with the anti-harbaugh trolls. If you're going to make snarky comments, at least do some research about that putrid offense and Hoke's incompetence recruiting it.

Not everyone can be urban meyer and walk into a team with speed and elite talent all over that side of the ball.

I mean, I like Jim but the talent level argument is not one you need to make with an Arkansas fan. Id name my first born fat Bert for Michigan worst class. I mean we started a defensive lineman form Denmark at guard all year long you don't get to talk about depleted talent

Ok maybe I went too far with the Arkansas analogy. BUT, the offense was nowhere near good enough nor talented enough to win anything big. Shitty OLINE play years in the making because of 4 star busts and terrible position coaching ruined the development of many of those guys. Michigan's oline got abused in almost every game against a team with a defensive line that had a pulse.

Combine that with the fact that their QB was an inaccurate statue who couldn't cover up that weakness and you get losses to osu and FSU.

Iowa was an inexcusable loss. That's on harbaugh.

If the oline doesn't improve next year, then I'll start getting annoyed.

Then go take it up with that giant douche Harbaugh. It's fun to make fun of him when he's a complete retard like when he screwed his team in the last Ohio State game. He coached like a monkey.
