He really is, in fact musically he's a genius. The problem is that he can never seem to find his sound. Every time he plays something he hears somebody else in it. He can never find something that's uniquely his.

Couldn't agree more. I like his music enough, and recognize his talent, but damn, like you said...he can't seem to find HIS sound. It's holding me back from loving his music.
