Currently rated as #35 with 15 commits (8 four star, 6 3 star, and 1 two star).

Are they expected to have a big signing day push or was this always going to be a small class for them?

Can Herman just not recruit well? Just for reference, they are currently behind Baylor, Pitt, Mississippi State, Arizona, Arkansas, Louisville...incredible

An even better reason why K'Lavon Chaisson should become a Tiger

I don't think you can judge Herman's recruiting by this class. I mean he's only been there 2 months.

Hard to blame Herman when recruiting is based off a full year and a half of relationships with a recruit. He pulled in a 5-star at Houston last year so I'm going to say he's not the problem. Probably has way more to do with the 16-21 record the last 3 years at Texas.

Herman may be hamstrung this class b/c Strong liked to have guys wait to commit until NSD

now if those guys are still on board, they should finish fine. if they're upset about the change? who knows

Typically when there is coaching changing, the recruiting class that year is not as good. The tell for Herman and his recruiting ability will be next year's class, when he has a full year to recruit and not 4-6 weeks or whatever.

Herman will do fine recruiting next year. He isn't a 'core values' guy like Strong was. He is a coach that got a grill made and talks about his favorite rappers.

Herman has tried (and failed) to flip every single A&M and Oklahoma commit so far.

This is common with a new coach taking over. I think they'll finish between 20-25.

And Oregon continues its slide behind Texas.

And Nebraska will continue to wander in the desert it looks like.

They are next to Texas and Miss St. and behind Arizona which went 1-8 in conference.

People did the same thing with Harbaugh. Texas had like 5 commits before Herman got there, he's done a great job in the tme he's had.

Herman will be another Strong, 3 years and out. We continue to operate as if we have a tiny budget, and are shopping for coaches in the bargain basement. All of this $, all of these resources, great town, solid academic school, and things couldn't be more of a mess. We are looking at other 2* kids to round out the class. It is embarrassing.
