I'll just leave this here...

Current NFL linebackers from each school with Career stats)

LSU (1,565 tackles, 30.5 sacks, 10 ints)

Kwon Alexander Tampa (238 tackles, 6 sacks, 3 int)
Deion Jones Atlanta (108 tackles, 0 sacks, 3 ints)
Lamar Louis Baltimore (0 tackles, 0 sacks, 0 ints)
Barkevious Mingo New England (119 tackles, 7 sacks, 1 int)
Kevin Minter Arizona (223 tackles, 5 sacks, 0 ints)
Perry Riley Jr. Oakland (502 tackles, 9.5 sacks, 3 ints)
Kelvin Sheppard New York Giants (375 tackles, 3 sacks, 0 ints)

Oklahoma (108 tackles, 1 sacks, 0 ints)

Dominique Alexander Cleveland (7 tackles, 0 sacks, 0 ints)
Devante Bond Tampa (0 tackles, 0 sacks, 0 ints)
Corey Nelson Denver (101 tackles, 1 sacks, 0 ints)

Is this really a serious question as to where he should go and be developed?

He included all current LB's in the NFL for both OU and LSU. You remove one and the post integrity becomes questionable.

He included Devonta Bond from OU as well that has 0's.

It does. He's in the league, just getting his career going. Why remove him? Should I remove Bond for OU? They net each other out. You are missing the point

I just heard on Culotta and the Fan that both of Allen's parents want him going to LSU so it will be easier for them to go watch him play. And on their return trip from Alabama, they got delayed in Atlanta. It's a longshot probably, but maybe that will carry some weight.

Why in the world would you fly from Bama -> ATL -> BR.

I was wondering the same thing. Maybe since Atlanta is a hub, you have to make the connecting flights through there? Not really sure. It almost seems easier to just drive there rather then have to deal with flight delays in Atlanta.

SEC favors players like Phillips with the style of offenses they see. In Oklahoma they run into so many pass first, spread teams that ILB's don't get a ton of tackles and they play a ton of dime defense. His dad is correct about him getting more out of LSU.

I know its an official visit and its all expense paid but Baton Rouge is literally 5 hours from Tuscaloosa. By the time you get to the airport, wait around, fly to atlanta, layover time, fly to Birmingham, get bags, drive to Tuscaloosa and all that you could have driven to tuscaloosa and back from BR (Assuming thats what happened). On top of that avoid delays.

You're right.
With 0 layover, and 0 delay, it's no time savings.
