1 Timothy 2:1-4
Romans 13:1
Scripture is not to be treated as a buffet, choosing which one uses to support their view.
Pastors would better serve if they truly believed the gospel message. Want to change lives, stay on message and out of politics. Many "take on the form of godliness but deny its power".....this very well describes much of the evangelical body, unfortunately.

I don't mind religious leaders spouting opinions about politics. For a true believing preacher, it might even be impossible to fully separate them. But if they're going to be involved with politics, don't expect tax exempt status. I'd just like to see politicians ignore some of their bullshite.
