Eta: who's the coward that downvote the OP

In my original post (when first diagnosed) there were several posters who felt I should not have chemo because it is a terminal cancer and I am only delaying the inevitable and making doctors rich. They are more than likely the downvoters.

When originally diagnosed I had decided to not get treatments and let nature take its course. One of my doctors (not an oncologist) gave me some really good advice. He urged me to give chemo a shot. He said I was young (53) and healthy and if I decided chemo was not for me I could stop at anytime. No one can force me to have chemo and it is my decision. I discussed it with my husband and family and we all agreed I will fight as long as I can. However, if/when it starts taking a toll on me I will then stop.
So, the moral of this story is - it easy to say what you would do until faced with your own mortality.

I'm glad you never gave in not getting chemo. Fight it. Stay strong.

I can only offer this observation about America and the OT:

Think about how dumb the average Anerican (or OT'r) is. Half of the population is even dumber than that average guy.
