I also tried one today. It was about 1 pm and when I drove up, the cashier immediately asked if I wanted to try a Grand Mac. I said yes. I drove around and she was so pleased because I was the 1st person to order one from her. She said they had been offering them for a few days.
As for the sandwich, it was a good size - I'm sure bigger than original Big Macs. But I think the patties may have been sitting around a while because they were on the dry side.
And the sandwich would have been better if they had spread the secret sauce around the whole bun. That also contributed to the dryness. It also suffered from what I commonly see in a Big Mac - the sauce eats through the bread making the burger want to fall apart. That secret sauce must be related to lava.
