The civilian did what most of us would have done, imho. I'm of the opinion now, though, that he will face a lawsuit and defending himself will take every asset he has accumulated in his lifetime. This will bankrupt him. I sure hope I'm wrong about this...

not sure about the laws in arizona, but in louisiana and florida the family of the slain would be unable to sue.

If the family attempted to sue this fine young man then that family should. E thrown in to a deep dark hole somewhere and left to rot. Scum is scum and it must be treated as such.
