This isn't war or Call of Duty. She wasn't a threat to his life that had to be knocked the frick out.

That slap could have killed that 6'1" 200+ pound running back. SHE HAD TO BE STOPPED!!!!!1!!

Maybe you're missing that it seems clear that Mixon wasn't remorseful AT ALL until he was thinking of declaring for the draft/the video was going to be released.
