...despite the fact that I will be unable to work for at least the next 4-6 weeks due to a recovery from surgery.

Do I have a problem?

Please tell me my decision was not an irresponsible one reflective of immaturity and poor fiscal responsibility. I'm just living life, right?

I bought tickets for:
-Sleep @ White Oak Music Hall Houston, TX
-A Perfect Circle @ Smart Financial Performing Arts Center Sugar Land, TX
-Mastodon, Eagles of Death Metal, and Russian Circles @ Austin City Limits Live Austin, TX
-Opeth, Gojira, and Devin Townsend @ War Memorial Auditorium Nashville, TX

However, I did restrain myself from buying Gov't Mule tickets. I figure that they come to Louisiana once a year so I can miss out on them this year.

P.S. frick TICKETMASTER AND THEIR GODDAMN $35 IN ADDITIONAL FEES.

War Memorial is an awesome venue. Saw Modest Mouse there last year and had a blast.

Few things are worse than looking back on your life and regretting that you didn't do something that was easily accomplished. So no. Go to all the shows you can while you can.

Last night, I spent $800 on my company expense account to take 3 30 somethings Project Manager clients to see the Red Hot Chili Peppers. I would never do that if it were my money.

Also plan on expensing 6-10 tickets to Chicago/Doobie Bros/ The Band in June. Much cheaper tickets and I love all three of those bands. Will take some older VPs or Division Managers and their spouses to that. I can easily do that for a grand or less.
