Because 1/2 of your money goes to some government baby factory. So you guys really think making 250k a year makes you a millionaire? Even after taxes and expenses it's pretty hard to save 50k cash a year for 15 to 20 years. That's just upper middle class.

It doesn't make you a millionaire, but with the right discipline and investment decisions I would think that it's in reach and possible depending on the stage of the career.
