Sometimes they remain committed up until a NSD flip. I remember losing a LB to UTex last year that same way. I think maybe some kids avoid the decommitment up until NSD because they may not want to disappoint their main recruiters from the school they committed to, until they absolutely have to.
That being said, other kids enjoy trolling and are loving playing the game. It's a matter of integrity and character, and it's the new norm in a generation raised and fed by pop culture, MTV and social media.

Yeah, I'm never too quick to judge kids who flip late. There's something to be said about not committing until your ready, but the coaches put a lot of pressure on the kids. Must be pretty hard to say no to these guys.
