Do you consider Duane Allman a Domino or a guest?

Because if the former, are you really asking how good was a band with Clapton in his prime and Skydog?

I was really asking for opinions. I have no opinion of my own. Just lost my shite over how good they were in YouTube videos. But knowledge of them and or an intelligent opinion on them or their history? I can't give you.

My understanding after reading Skydog is that he was in the band but only really recorded with them. It really wasn't even a band per se, but just Clapton wanting to put together a badass lineup to cut an album. Remember that Duane was also a highly sought after session player and played on many records for others. The book mentioned that Clapton and the others just got together and all equally contributed to create the album. I always thought Clapton's best work was when he collaborated with others. (Cream, D&D, etc.)
