If the bill is undoubtedly harming more people than repealing it would, repeal it without delay.

If you have a better option (that you can pass), go ahead and pass it.

But repealing and delaying the repeal is cowardly. Let's hope this election doesn't have the consequences of denying millions of Americans access to healthcare, and subsequently killing thousands - all because Republicans are cowards.

its good politics thought.

I think the democrats are going to have to walk a fine line here. They need to offer a different view point without sounding like a whiner. They do get a lot of upside though if they can manage to stay out of the republicans way and republicans frick it up. But too ifs in there. Repealing obmacare might end up being awesome, especially if they can manage to replace it somehow.

Healthcare and health insurance are not the same things.

Democrats think it is murder when the government doesn't fund someone's consumption of healthcare.

Very odd. Inaction has never been considered murder.

Yes. Thousands will be killed. Start taking names so you can present them to us on a daily basis.

I actually used to enjoy debating healthcare with you, but your shilling of the ACA as a whole, and your chicken little act has put quite a dent in your credibility.

It's a shame, b/c I think you know what you're talking about. But ideology, or just this board, has blinded you

Um, no. Delaying when it takes effect allows a transition to the new system.

Open enrollment closes 11 days after the inauguration, and most of the reimbursement schedules are locked in. Changes need to take effect for 2018 and 2019 so insurers, patients, and providers can plan effectively.

Repealing with all provisions gone as of 1/20 would be colossally stupid, and would harm thousands of people while providing no relief to the tens of millions who were harmed by the ACA.

I agree repeal it now. Doesn't need to be replaced with anything except a chainsaw destroying all the red tape
