How we've played with him as HC so far.

You mean not even a full season and two losses?

Blame Les, he was a piss poor coach. He would flounder at a secondary school like Oklahoma State. Saban gave him everything and he could not maintain it. Les couldn't even recruit a QB no one wanted to play for him, recruiting classes stalled and eventually LSU lost its rightful place among SEC elites.
Coach O will thrive in the SEC he is a premier DLine coach with years of knowledge and he is a hell of a recruiter. LSU is lucky they found him before another school gave him an opportunity and he shined.

We lost to the two best teams we've played under O. One of which wasn't even that good of a team. We've played better than we had recently under Miles but it's not like we're magically some kind of a juggernaut. I obviously want O to succeed but I'm a bit apprehensive about the long term.

We played bama as close as anyone will all year. The Florida game was disappointing, I'll admit that. But the team played well down the stretch with Ed.

Moral victory! Couldn't score a point at home.

Well, you sound like a blast to be around. I guess you wanted to keep Miles around another year too!

Have a nice day.

According to some, interim HC games don't count. So, O is undefeated. Stop looking back. It's a new year.

Who have we recruited at LB despite a top DC?

One of our biggest positions of need in a year we are switching to a 3-4.

We have ZERO LB recruits. This should be a huge alarm.

That is one truly ignorant kid, who is prone to knee-jerk reactions and not very much wisdom or intelligence. Just ignore Mo jeaux

Nope. Wanted him gone at the very least last season. It's the Pollyannas like you that prevented that from happening.

What's not obvious? I love LSU and want LSU to succeed. O is the coach. His success = LSU's success. Thus, I want O to succeed. It's not complicated. Being apprehensive =\= wishing failure.

We blew out everyone but Florida and bama. Louisville is better than Florida, and possibly a&m. The Florida game was on 2 players....period, guice and Jackson. Otherwise it is another blowout win. The offense gained 400+ yards. shite happens sometimes. I'm sorry you can't see the improvement in this team.

Did you read my post? I said we clearly have improved from what we had under Miles.

Yeah. It's funny seeing some people who want to say they don't have much confidence in Ed. They can't give you a better option, given the timing and cluster the AD created, or admit he's working with what Miles created after years of mediocre results. I want Ed to succeed, and I hope he takes us to an SEC championship/playoff. Not sure what bashing his performance this past season accomplishes at all. He's going to get better.
