I agree- our defense is right up there with Bama's. The Florida game was an abomination; O would have beaten Wisconsin & Auburn.

After the Sugar Bowl there will be no doubt who the second best team in the SEC is and it played yesterday.

I'm not sure we're the 3rd best team in the country, but there is not doubt that the difference between LSU and the top 5 teams is a small one. We're close to being in the hunt. Very close.

LSU was three plays away from 10-1 and a possible rematch vs BAMA yesterday.

Brandon Harris scrambled for five yards against Wisonsin instead of the interception and Delahoussaye kicks game winning FG

Tigers get more favorable clock operation from the clock operators ( yes, there were some issue despite LSU 's own self created problems)

Guice cuts the correct way on the last play vs Florida ( For that matter Donte tackles the Gator receiver on the sideline the Gators dont sniff the end zone and Guice run is irrelevant)

4 games by a total of 16 points. Don't count Hurts' TD run. 3 people were held

Based on the way this team is playing over the last four games LSU is one of the best teams in the country. We all know of the early season struggles, but guarantee you nobody would want to play LSU right now including Alabama. Its similar to a basketball team which struggles in January then finds its identity in February and is a force come tournament time.

You are not far off.

Wisc loss - one bad play.

Auburn loss - 0.5 second short

Bama loss - was winnable but a loss anyway.

UF - one play difference.

The flip side of this is that if we won Wisc and Aub then we are still with Les/Cam...

LSU beat them up and down the field. Florida got one TD when Donte Jackson missed a tackle on the sideline.

Tigers committed a couple of unforced fumbles.

Guice ran the wrong way on the final play.

Beckwith was injured.

Sure all those stars might align for Florida again, once out of ten times. However, if only one doesn't Florida has no chance.

Moral victory!!

You know what's odd? When I look at our schedule, I see an "L" next to the Florida game.

I think we could stay with any team that is playing in the playoffs for sure and this is why the playoff needs to be extended. There should be teams with 3 or 4 loses but are extremely talented like LSU get a chance at the ship. Would make it soooo much better and yes regular season would still be worth it. Seeding and what not. Being computer rankings back and expand to 8 teams and then you have a real playoff IMO. Gt

Brazos, the offense was fine against Louisville. Danny Etling is good quarterback. There was nothing wrong with the play selection. They got close to 400 yards in the game. Also, quit saying 'we' . You are not in the team. You are part of the Sports Bar Hero set who thinks he knows it all

Tigersbb, the click operators had nothing to do with the LSU loss the Auburn. I assume you have never officiated and do not know the rules. When the play starts on the ready for play, tha ball can not be snapped until the ready for play is cmplete, That takes a full second. There would have needed to be at least two full seconds to get the snap off in that situation. Had the clock started on the snap, then the Touchdown would have counted. If the pass before the play would have been incomplete, then the click would have started on the snap.

Debatable, but both are better teams than UF, so there's that.

Our offense didnt look very good at all against Louisville. Wtf were you watching? Without the WRs making some amazing catches and one big run play, the whole game would have been a shite show for the offense.

This is usually true every year. But can and actually doing it are two diff things.
