I say if you're going to pay 3 Grand for a TV, just go ahead and get OLED TV. No, it wont be a 75"er but it will have the best screen and richest, deepest colors money can buy.
I own an LG 4K w/ IPS Display TV (which this model also has) and the contrast and black uniformity absolutely blows. It has a greyish hue to it and you cant get rid of it. I tinkerted with the settings for a week, the IPS display simply wont do it. Mine is a model below the one you listed.
The OS is awesome and the TV is beautiful, but I got one hell of a deal on mine and I still wouldn't buy another one. Simply does not have enough contrast and deepness of the blacks for my liking. In fact, I have a top of the line LG LCD from 2009 that still looks better than this one.
Just look at rtings.com test on black uniformity and contrast tests, tells you all you need to know. LINK
I know everyone on this board gushes about the Panasonic KS8000. It's cheaper and has much deeper blacks. Only goes to a 65" though, but it is about as good an LED TV as on the market right now. LINK
It's damn comparable to LG's base OLED model.

^^^ What he said.
I recently bought the same TV in the 55" an ended up returning it and getting a Samsung 8 series (KS800) which is phenomenal and the picture is stunning.
The LG was just awful, especially in a dark room with a dark scene. It's like the whole picture was lost in the black and when we brightened the picture it had a grayish haze to it.
The only TV I would take over the Samsung 8 or 9 series is the LG OLED, but to me the difference in price is simply too much to justify buying the OLED.
