If my memory is right, I think I remember reading that it wouldn't work at $150. The layer is too deep to be feasible. I doubt that we will see it drilled for commercial output any time in the next decade.

I would bet there have been no new technologies brought to the area over the past couple years, whereas in other basins they're drilling the same economics at oil ~50% of what it was. At some point in the next decade I could see someone trying to reinvigorate the area with new, more efficient drilling techniques (similar to what's happening in NE TX/NW LA right now) to bring that $100-$150 bogie down significantly. Won't happen any time soon though. Pure speculation/wishful thinking.
