Tuscaloosa Marine Shale - last rites or potential?

I remember not too long ago that the TMS was all the rage... 8 Billon barrel projections and all that jazz. I saw a flurry of activity with some early high output success, but production issues soon claimed many a victim - folded up their tents and went home.

Where are we today? Are O&G companies re-thinking the TMS as a potential play? Have they figured out the correct recipe?

JMHO but this is a dead for the foreseeable future, way to expensive.

It's not that it can't be done, it is just everything else is more profitable. Same thing deepwater will be up against going forward.
