I said it from the beginning, the Star Killer should have gotten one last shot off to kill c3po, leia, r2, and whoever else was left over from the original except Luke and Chewbacca
Han is taken care of....but what should have happened is that Chewbacca goes into his wookie rage and saves Finn and Rey....by sacrificing himself(ie OB1)
Chebacca blindsides Kylo Ren mauling him and ripping off his arm( like Luke and Vader)...but then uses the force to kill Chewbacca eventually.
Force awakens "Luke feels the planet and his friends die"(like OB1)
Kylo wanting to follow in the footsteps of hos grandfather....now has to use a mask and robot suit because he's all fricked up.
Everyone gets a cameo, die a heroes death, and the new characters can develop on their own w/o playing anymore homages to the original trilogy.
