Why the hell does this guy still have a job? Get rid of this clown before he's allowed to hire another coach for LSU.

When he took over both the Men's and Women's basketball teams were recent Final Four teams and now look at both of them.

Why did LSU even hire him in the first place? It's not like he had much to be proud of during his Duke tenure.

He hires people based on their love of LSU and not past resume. If Orgeron doesn't pan out he will be ridiculed forever

This hire is directly tied to Dale Brown and Collis Temple. Those two will not have input on the next coach period.

I don't blame Alleva even though I was against Mr Duke Lacrosse Toss Under Bus/Kiss Nifong @ss from jump street..
I'm more concerned about the goofballs that hired him, and how the f@ck LSU went from Emmert/Skip//Saban/OKeefe/Lombardi/etc..to it's current Left Coast Lib and his clown Administrative-only AD.
Hopefully, LSU will be bringing back Dan Rad soon, or hiring even better. Don't trust Alleva to make another hire..not even a Title 9 sport.

Hopefully he goes and gets Rick Stansbury and he brings Mitchell Robinson with him. Those two things happen and we could be a fringe tourney team next year

He needs to go, but this is small-picture thinking. The problem is the stench all the way to the very top, including the BoS and the governors who appoint them. Everyone above the academic department head level who has any power to make any decisions affecting LSU should be cleaned out. All the way through the entire BoS. The governor(s) who appointed the current BoS should be prosecuted for malfeasance in office, although their malfeasance regarding LSU BoS appointments is probably among the least of their transgressions.
LSU (and really the whole state of Louisiana) is just a raging dumpster fire from the very top all the way down. Nothing can be fixed until that is fixed.

just curious. what has mr aleva done for lsu. before aleva got there to lsu. lsu was winning championships in gymnastics, track, and the big sports that support themselves in baseball and football. since then lsu kinda dropped off the map in getting in the top. or is it just me

I have to disagree with your saying ' total embarrassment'. He is responsible for the construction improvements made at Tiger Stadium, and the entire Athletic Department/
Finance Department, which has a very healthy bottom line on his watch. I also like how he handled the LSU Florida game this year so we didn't lose a home game. He handled the football coaching hire in a way that worked out for the best. Tom Herman's agent used LSU to leverage Texas to move to hire him there, and Jimbo Fisher was never coming here. Things will play out, and if they don't, a change will be made in Men and Women's basketball programs. Be careful what you wish for folks. Good AD's are not easy to get and retain, but of course the rant is the self serving master of what and who is best for LSU sports.
