Then why are you touting the popular vote? The popular vote is like stats in a football game, when the Electoral votes are the points on the scoreboard?

When did I start a thread complaining about the popular vote? All I have said on the subject is that it is ridiculous to expect this to not be discussed or covered on the news. I believe the report in question occurred when the numbers became official and final. Several people here *cough* wolfhound!...are equating my defending this being covered as a reasonable news story with me delegitimizing the results.
An emotional response...Sadly, I expect nothing less.

I post here because I don't like to surround myself with people who agree with me. I am used to the abuse...

To dovetail on your football analogy, if a team lost the superbowl while outgaining the other team in yards and winning the turnover ratio it would be mentioned repeatedly in the coverage of said game.
