How is it not reasonable to assume that Orgeron was waiting for a resolution on the Kiffin saga before actually going after someone else?
Add in the week of the Alabama game that Orgeron said that Lane Kifin was the best OC in the country.

Who gives a frick and what difference does it make? If you critical fricks are so good then you need to be doing the hiring.
If you accept the fact that we have an idiot that is responsible for doing the hiring and therefore, the hired will probably not be the best at doing their job. The anger is misguided to O, maybe he is doing the best job he can do. Shouldn't that be all that we can ask of him? Hopefully, he gets his feet under and the perception will change. Focus the anger at the appropriate party. Alleva is the idiot here and everybody knew/knows what we have with O so, don't act surprised.
