The Negas moved on to hating the new coach (and rooting against the team, hoping for a complete disaster in 2017 so they can get ANOTHER HC search) in what I can only describe as "in a helluva hurry."

For the failed ole miss coach that wants to hire an offensive line coach for OC! This is what all the negatigers wanted, get rid of the coach that runs a pro set offense with an Oline coach as coordinator for an dline coach with the great idea to get an offensive line coach as offensive coordinator.

Notice that no power 5 schools want Les now????? What does that say?

It highlights what everyone here has been bitching about for years.

This! Tells you that they all been watching the same crap we were, and came to the same conclusions. WTF was LSU thinking?

Explain where I am wrong, jackass.

USF contacted him about interest. He wasn't really that interested. And they said that's okay, we didn't really want you anyway. And they MEANT it.

We are talking about an elite, national championship-caliber football coach, an SEC legend, right?

NO...not this dumazz. The right call was made to fire his arse....but the wrong hire was made.....that doesnt mean that firing Les was wrong.

You are really a dumbass if you believe they wanted Strong over Miles. Even your statement proves they wanted Miles first, but he didn't want to be there, so they settled for Strong.

"They MEANT it" sure they did.

Just proves their hypocrisy.

They told us YOU MUST SUPPORT LES MILES WITH ALL YOUR HEART BECAUSE HE IS LSU'S HEAD FOOTBALL COACH AND YOU MUST LOVE LSU WIN OR LOSE AND IF YOU DON'T YOU'RE NOT A TRUE LSU FAN.

And now this clown comes out of the woodwork ready to start shite because this is not about showing unwavering support for the new LSU coach, it's about proving that you are right. Well guess what numbnuts, Les Miles isn't the coach anymore and you need to practice what you preach and get with the program, even if if you think he is inferior to your Greek God of LSU Football.

It's just like politics. Republicans bitch about Democrats because they were being mean to George W. Bush and they "showed no respect for the office." And then when Obama gets there, the EXACT SAME PEOPLE who bitched all along start saying the most offensive, racist stuff about him. But now Trump's president "and all you sore loser Democrats better leave him alone or leave the damn country if you don't support our president."

So basically you're saying that your own arbitrary self-imposed rules only apply to people you like and the gloves are off for the ones you personally hate? Got it.

Stfu, Miles was a clueless idiot.

Our program is so shitty because he ran it into the ground.

He's not even good enough for Purdue.

So your proof is "sure they did" and an emoticon? I've been really put in my place. Les Miles doesn't have a job and Major Applewhite and Charlie Strong have jobs at schools that he let know that he might be available. I'm gonna let facts speak for themselves and not subscribe to your ridiculous theory that he's too good for them.

He and/or his agent put his name out there on the "anonymous sources circuit." He could have been had, and he would have been had if somebody actually tried.

I know it hurts to admit that Charlie Strong has a job and Les Miles doesn't. So it's okay to craft a phony story that fits the narrative you've subscribed to for over a decade. We all understand.

Nobody believes you. But we understand.

Needed to happen, but no, not for the Dline coach. That part was a fail. If you get rid of Les, it has to be for a quality hire and it looks like Alleva failed.

Spot on. It was time for miles to go. He had chances upon chances to change his offensive philosophy and he refused to do so. BUT my only trepidation was allowing Alleva to do do the hiring. I was proven correct. The simle fact that he had a 55 year old career dline coach as lsu's 3rd choice should be enough to fire him. He has made a cheap hire in basketball and football.

Yeah economics degree from Michigan just scream idiot.
The sad part is that miles is a better cfb coach than you are at anything in life.

Holy shite.
Saban's tenure= 2 10 win seasons 2 top 15 finishes
Miles last 5 years= 3 10 win seasons 3 top 15 finishes

I guess saban was running lsu into the ground.

He has already turned a worse off program into a respectable program when he was at Oklahoma State. It must really hurt your vagina that miles is the most successful coach in lsu history.

Yeah because he is an idiot miles has been more successful than his predecessor at every stop. He took a program that had 1 winning season in the previous 14 years and had 3 straight winning seasons and had them winning 9 games. Oklahoma state went from getting recruiting classes in the 80's and 90's to getting multiple top 25 classes.

But hey dont let facts get in the way of your posting. Most people on here dont.

So, firing a successful coach to only replace him with an unsuccessful coach who in ten years couldn't even get a school to offer him a DC job is your idea of the right move? Cut your nose off to spite your face often?

The stupidity of that is what scares me about the direction of the leadership at LSU.

But hey, we scored ten points in two SEC home game loses when we played a defense with a pulse. What an upgrade!

Serious question for the whole board: do y'all ever get tired of bitching and crying about everything?

It's a sport... entertainment.... it's supposed to be fun but frick man I get the impression that nobody here would be 100% satisfied even if we went 15-0 winning by an average of 35 points

It's our fans' sense of entitlement that is such a put off to the rest of college fans in the country...

I don't know man, maybe it's just me, and I'm sure I'll get downvoted like crazy but tigerdroppings has damn near ruined LSU athletics for me... it never used to be like this. No matter what, it was NEVER this bad

Holy shite, you think Miles should still be the coach?

Ogeron was a crap hire, but in no way should Miles have kept his job... LSU was headed down the Texas/Mack Brown route.

To say otherwise is just retarded. I guess you can hope someone hires him so you can become a groupee of that school.
