You need to open your eyes and realize that Washington has bought and paid for the media for years now. They own the message because they own the journalists. Just look at the Wikileaks. Our media was supposed to be in opposition to government, not buddying up with the politicians at dinner parties and providing debate questions to the political entity that pays them the most.

I could not agree more my friend....the media is driven by profit and profit is enhanced when you play along to get along. That is the nature of capitalism....you ain't going to make as much money in a capitalistic economy pissing people off as you will getting along...at least not over the long haul. This is a problem and one that many people predicted as local newspapers started to fade into oblivion.

As far as wiki-leaks there has always been an aversion by the press to publish stolen information because it would lead to more stolen information and would be seen as the press encouraging illegal activity. That is why the "legtimate" press can't do anything with it...Breitbart doesn't care if someone steals something and it proves to be wrong....but NBC's business model does not allow for that sort of credibility be damned.

As for Pizzagate, most people don't take it to the extremes and suggest that Hillary herself is leading it. Most rational people don't by into the fact that it is 100% true. Most rational people however, see that there are a lot of strange coincidences and would prefer that SOME sort of investigative journalism give it some time. But instead they ignore and dismiss entirely.

No rational person lends the story any credence. By definition (rational - based on or in accordance with reason or logic) there is no reason or logic that would lead one to think that this story could possible be true. That isn't saying that it isn't true but a rational person would be shocked beyond belief if it were proven true....it is rational to dismiss the story out of hand...it is irrational, therefore, to believe it is in any way possible. Those who believe this story is possible (they don't THINK it is possible because they have to believe) are basing that belief on emotion....not logic. Again that is not saying the story isn't 100% factual....it just isn't RATIONAL to believe something so unhinged and impossible to believe....

So do you sincerely think that there is not a respected journalist in the western world who would not sale their soul to break a pizza gate type story? You sincerely think that the entire western journalism world heard of these rumors and immediately dismissed them because they were fond of Hilary Clinton???? Every fricking one of them? That is an even less logical and more emotional conclusion that thinking there is a Clinton lead pedophilia ring being ran out of a pizza joint in Washington.

Y'all don't like Clinton and Obama.....and you have legitimate reasons for that dislike...political differences alone are reason enough...but why do we feel the need to get emotionally involved? Why do we need Pizza Gates to solidify our dislike for someones politics? Our need to be emotionally involved is going to lead to our downfall....

We saw the same thing with her other "scandals" during the election.

Because 20 years ago accusing the Catholic church of this would have been career suicide. No one would have believed you and we would be having this same conversation about that topic.

I don't believe pizzagate is real, but again, there is smoke and I would prefer someone look into it. Perhaps they are looking into it, I don't follow the topic closely.

BUT, I find it disturbing that our media is willing to dismiss anything simply because it's "Conspiracy". If there is smoke, investigate, 95% of the time it's probably nothing, but at least you made an effort.

-- These ideas are so.. 1980's. It was clear to anyone paying attention this last election cycle that the media was something completely different. I suggest that you pay attention.
