Because there is limit on what the "truth" is defined as with hackers...whereas the media is restricted in what they can write and publish by the fact that it has to be truthful or they can be eliminated financially....the legitimate press can't just throw shite out there and let the people decide without due diligence....if these sorts of restrictions were eliminated for the mainstream media and they were allowed to function as hackers and facebook "journalists" are hackers and facebook "journalists" couldn't get the time of day amongst the sheeple of his nation....

No..just..no. It most certainly doesn't have to be truthful. What it DOES have to be is what the reader or viewer base wants to hear. Truth is irrelevant. The narrative is all. The media will do whatever it takes to keep the views and clicks flowing, because that keeps the cash flowing.
