How easy is the Mavic for a first time drone owner...was given one as a Christmas present. Any tips?

It's extremely easy to fly. Just practice in an open field and you will have it down pretty quickly.

I let a buddy who has never done anything with RC even cars and he was flying fine after a 30 second tutorial about the controls.

That's good to hear, I have a little experience with the dji phantom 2 ... I helped my father in law set his up but little practical experience flying it.

Does anyone have any good info on attaining the commercial unmanned pilots license?
I plan to use the Mavic recreationally at first to get familiar with the operating systems but eventually use it on our farm and possibly for contract applications on other farms.

I know you need a commercial license for that but don't have much info elsewhere
