How do we know Alleva wasn't under the influence of some mind altering drug when he offered O?

Sark is 100% a drunk. You cannot deny that. I am not knocking him. It is a fact. He will still be a drunk next year and the year after and the many many years after that. I just think it's stupid our fanbase says no to Art Briles, but are OK with Sark. Art gets a little bad PR for LSU initially, but would be awesome for the offense. Sark is actually very likely to relapse and cause some issues internally that would be much more damaging to the program.

For those sitting on their high horse… Answer this: how many Bama fans are perpetuating a rumor about Sark that they do not know to be 100% true? All the while knowing that sark and O are friends, and o needs a new OC

Let's enter this fantasy world for a second. In this fantasy world, Sark would rather work for an unproven coach who will likely be out after three years over working for a guy that could completely revamp his image and help him to land another head coaching gig (a la Kiffin.)

Also, in this fantasy world, Alabama fans start rumors about a guy who is believed to be their next offensive coordinator just because, right?

I think you've been drinking the koolaid a little too long.

Man I hate agreeing with a gump, but the reality is he is right!

Read the Alabama board, the rumors of Sark getting drunk at Gallettes with players was posted Sunday night, long before any rumors about LSU. Everyone assumed he was our next OC til then.

So fire a coach and the players, which were likely underage, skate or get a slap on the wrist. Sounds real fair.

Yeah, I edited it. And I don't necessarily agree with my premise but wouldn't be surprised if true

Let's say that you get offered a job with a friend at a start-up company. You have no idea if this company will be viable longterm, and the job security isn't there. Let's also say you left your previous employer under undesirable terms.

Now, let's say that you were offered a job at Apple. Same position. Same pay. More security. Better chance to revamp your image.

Which job would you take?

If true, how many of those players are alcoholics?

But isn't this "friendship" a perpetuated rumor too? They hadn't worked with one another since 2008. And Sarkisian didn't try to retain him after Orgeron was let go as interim at USC.

Is Sark that great of an offensive mind that Bama would go through that much trouble just to keep him away from LSU?

According to Bama fans on tRant last week he was. You know, when they didn't care about the rumors of Kiffin going to LSU be abuse they had a better OC lined up in Sark already.
