I didn't support Jeb, so honestly I didn't follow his positions closely. But if I recall correctly, he and most of the others said no path to citizenship unless they went to the back of the line.
No practical distinction that I can see from the post I commented on.
Edit: only distinction I see is the position on changing the definition of natural born citizen.

So you posted a whole lot of nothing and ended it with a paragraph of OPINION instead of actual quotes...

BLITZER: Mr. Trump, you’ve called for a deportation force to remove the 11 million undocumented immigrants from the United States. You’ve also promised to let what you call, “the good ones,” come back in. Your words, “the good ones,” after they’ve been deported.
Senator Cruz would not allow them to come back in. He says that’s the biggest difference between the two of you. He calls your plan amnesty. Is it?
TRUMP: First of all, he was in charge of amnesty, he was the leader, and you can ask Marco because they’ve been debating this every debate that we’ve had.
As far as coming back in, number one, you wouldn’t even be talking, and you wouldn’t have asked that as the first question if it weren’t for me when my opening when I talked about illegals immigration. It wouldn’t even be a big subject.
But, we either have a country, or we don’t have a country. We have at least 11 million people in this country that came in illegally. They will go out. They will come back — some will come back, the best, through a process. They have to come back legally. They have to come back through a process, and it may not be a very quick process, but I think that’s very fair, and very fine.
They’re going to get in line with other people. The best of them will come back, but they’re going to come back through a process. . . .
Well, first of all, self-deportation is people are going to leave as soon as they see others going out. If you look at Dwight Eisenhower in the 1950s, they started moving people out and the rest of them left.
Self-deportation, as I really define it, and that’s the way I define it, is you’re going to get some to go, and the rest are going to go out.
As far as the people that I’ve hired in various parts of Florida during the absolute prime season, like Palm Beach and other locations, you could not get help. It’s the up season. People didn’t want to have part-time jobs. There were part-time jobs, very seasonal, 90-day jobs, 120-day jobs, and you couldn’t get.
Everybody agrees with me on that. They were part-time jobs. You needed them, or we just might as well close the doors, because you couldn’t get help in those hot, hot sections of Florida.

Hey welcome "new" dude.
So rescind means deport?
Maybe, maybe not.

Every part (which you mentioned AFTER) is not the same as every policy (which is what I asked about).
Details matter. Which is the entire reason we are discussing this Trump flip flop on immigration.

Whatever, you asked if it meant all of ocare goes away, I said no it doesn't.
Just like O's EO rescinding it doesn't mean everything goes the frick away.

Every rationale minded person has been saying the entire time that Trump is not building a wall and that it is impossible to deport all illegals--logistically and humanely. But if these rationale minded ppl stated that during the election, they were met with tons of "Cuck" posts.
Do you see why some now have a problem with Trump flipping and his supporters finding no issue with that?

My position on this, and some other issues, is that Trump is a businessman and everything is negotiable. If he wants to sell a building for $10 million, he doesn't put it on the market for $10 million. He advertises it at $13 million and settles for $10 million.
He is going to have the liberals so focused on preventing 12 million illegals from being deported, that they will concede the wall, which is his main objective, anyway.
Deporting 12 million illegals was never feasible, and having a virtual wall, using e-verify, will force many of the 12 million illegals to self deport. Build a wall first, and then we can discuss what to do about the illegals already inside the wall.

For all the people saying that Trump flipped. He is still signalling that he intends to build the wall. There are some people who say that building the wall is not going to happen and that it is ridiculous to say that it will happen. Of course it can happen. It is not that difficult.
President Obama has stated that he wants to close GITMO. Here we are, 8 years later, and it's still open. He lied. Why don't the liberals have a problem with that?
If it were completely up to President Trump, the wall would get built. No question about it. He may have to revise his position for political expediency, but I believe we will have a wall at least along some parts of the border.
