I know someone who knows Allens dad.. and I was told he was never going to LSU.

It's definitely a sign of the times I guess. I have a young cousin who is a senior in high school in Mandeville and she just got her acceptance letter to Bama. She was accepted at LSU and Southeastern , but her mom said it's been her dream to go to Bama. I just find it strange. Here is a girl who has grown up in South Louisiana and her dream school is Bama?? Bama has become so sensationalized that these kids would rather go to Tuscaloosa than Baton Rouge. Growing up in Hammond, i couldn't imagine given the opportunity as a young adult to go anywhere other than LSU . Seems that's not the case for star athletes or students.

It is bizarre. You would think a kid that wants to get away would go to Austin Texas, USF, Oregon if their go is to get away. Why the hell Tuscaloosa. I've been. Absolutely nothing special. Not bad, just not special

Dude, my sister-in-law did that back in 1993.
It's been going on forever.

That ends to happen when you suck. Elite players don't want to play for sucky teams. We are very average right now.

I don't blame them.
