In your own words, describe your understanding of Islam.

What core values do you understand that followers of Islam believe in?
How are Muslims saved? Is there a path or belief to salvation? Who is their savior if one is needed in Islam?
What is the foundation of their core beliefs?
Which scriptures in the Quran are consistent with the New Testament teachings? (if any)
All this coverage in the media about Islamophobia has me a little stirred...
Why doesn't the media ever ask Muslim Americans what their beliefs are? It seems ISLAM's beliefs or doctrine is skipped over...and always labeled "peaceful"...There is never conversation about the religion's beliefs or the Quran.
Why is that?

It's a devotion to the higher power that you believe is responsible for our existence.
A fundamental difference in Islam and Christianity is that the bible says "Work good toward ALL, especially those related to you in the faith"
Islam says to work good only to those related to you in the faith.
Regarding infidels they follow the old Iron Maiden tee shirt I had "kill em all and let God sort them out."

The media and left love them because of sharia law. Don't think for a second that the media and left would not love totalitarian rule that sharia law provides, along with a reason to frick something else like a goat. Islam and liberalism are very much alike in that they love oppression, destroying anything that doesn't align with their beliefs and fricking whatever they feel like depending on their mood.

There is nothing innately wrong with Islam.
Just as there is nothing innately wrong with most religions.
Many would likely reject those facts based on preconception bias. But given the correct forum, at least having the discussion would be a great start.
As I've said here in the face of some consternation, comparative religions should be taught in secondary school for the same reason.
Where extremism kicks in, the story changes. Eric Robert Rudolph, The Branch Davidians, Horrors of Islamic Terror, etc.

Islam/Mohammad REJECTS the idea that Jesus Christ was/is ONLY Begotten Son of God. With ultimate power to forgive Kharmic Debt (philosophical Sin)...IF individual sinner commits to the Principle of Jesus' qualifying Principles of Greater Love...and does their best to cultivate said Principles in their Worldly life.
Mohammed's intent/Religious Ideology is Authoritarian/Totalitarian, and directed toward employing the Islamic Group's violent power to force unbelievers to either "submit"...or suffer punishment as secondary citizens. This Ideology works well for Societies where the People's genetic characteristics are violently-inclined and less apt to experience the more complex feeling of Greater Love. A generalization, as there are always anomalies in any genetic group.
One either believes that Jesus IS who he said he was...or one does not. Islam does not, and is Ideologically offended by such, and sees it as their Moral/Theological DUTY to violently confront and destroy said Idea of Fundamental Christianity. Because the media (and the left in general) are so fricking scared of Islam. They are cowards who will cater to violence. They will never call them terrorists, they will never acknowledge they are a problem, and they want to let them into this country with no vetting process...just come on in...we don't hate you, in fact we'll give you free health insurance, and you can live off of our taxpayers...see we don't hate you at all - so you're not going to kill us right? In the eyes of the left, Christians are the problem, not Islam.
Islam has too many extremist who are willing to kill in the name of Islam and hate Western civilization. Look Christians aren't perfect, but we don't violently attack when someone makes fun of Jesus. We don't attempt to kill and blow up a different culture because we don't agree with it. Muslims don't care about this country. If they had their way, they would take over this country and turn it into an Islamic country, which the left will willingly let them do to prove they are so open minded and not Islamophobic.
