We may have dodged a bullet on Herman, at least if O doesn't make it the next guy should have talent to coach, still does not excuse Alleva from doing a legitimate coaching search.

Holy shite texas fired Strong an hour ago and already has a coach. LSU fired Miles like 2 or 3 months ago and we settle for the interim coach instantly.

LSU NEVER had a shot at Herman if the UT job was there. That is where Herman wanted to be.
