1) why is it assumed the "upsetness" is aimed at LSU - hasn't it been confirmed (more than once) that the leak didn't come from LSU? Yet every paragraph in which I've seen this written positions it with the assumption that the Herman folks are upset at LSU.

2) if the Herman camp is mad about it and blaming LSU, can LSU convince him otherwise tomorrow?

3) can I go to bed now?

ETA: here's the point - assuming that the part about Herman, et al, being upset is actually true, then based on the actual words written and repeated within these reports, it could JUST as likely mean that Herman is aggravated with UT.

Scenario:

1) LSU "offers" Herman via his agent.
2) Herman's agent leaks to UT in order to gauge interest/exert leverage
3) UT folks leak to media
4) He mad.

Too late for an old timer. Carry on, young bucks.

Honestly, I'm pretty sure every suggestion at him being upset is firmly rooted in the interview on ESPN today. The other details added, i.e., who's at fault, who he's mad at, are simply being added by writers/media to fit whatever narrative they're trying to portray.

Unless Orgeron and Pomansky were playing 4D chess and leaked it to the Texas site.

Lsu had nothing to do with the leak. It was the worst thing to happen. I have no idea what's Herman is upset about.

His agent is to blame. Facts don't make sense

The leaks almost have to come from his agent, himself, or someone at LSU. No one else would know about it unless one of those three leaked it.

The whole " Texas leaked it" thing is nonsense. How did they find out in the first place?

The harder you push that he shouldn't be upset about it, the more upset about it he would be. He might be able to get over it but I wouldn't push the issue in a meeting.

Yes

If Herman's camp is upset about the leak, then they should direct that anger at Texas. LSU had nothing to gain and everything to lose by that getting out. Texas stood to gain

Why would a coach be upset with "leaks?" It drives his price up at Texas. It drives his price up at Houston. It drives his price up at LSU.

What, is Houston going to fire him for flirting with other teams? Wherever he goes, if he wins games, no one will care about some stupid leaks. He has all the bargaining power. I really hope these coaches aren't the emotional little schoolgirls people are making them out to be.
