Amazon has a 6 quart for 68.00 marked down from 130.00 and I am thinking about getting one but I'm afraid it might turn into another small appliance that just takes up space and never gets used.
If you have one, what do you use it to cook and about how often do you use it?

I have one and rarely use it as a pressure cooker. I mainly use it to cook chicken breasts with the slow cook function because I have limited space, and I put my slow cooker in storage when I got the IP. I don't cook dry beans. I only do roast a couple of times a year. I can cook better rice on the cooktop in not much more time than the IP. I didn't need it. I could see it being useful for others though.

Pot roast; dried beans; turkey and black bean chili.
Eggs boiled in it peel like nothing. I cup water. Put eggs on the trivet. 7 minutes under pressure, 7 minutes more with lid on. Release remaining pressure, and put eggs in ice water.
It's more trouble than boiling them in a pot, but the peels just slip off.

i use mine all the time. Super handy device. Did duck and greens in it for Thanksgiving. They got steamrolled.

I always overcook rice with it so I don't use the rice cooker part at all. I do use it a lot for roasts and making juicy meats and cooking dry beans. I find it to be a very useful appliance. Gets more use than my stand mixer.

Ordered one today.
Grateful for the boiled eggs tip. It'll be the first thing I try.

I bought it during amazon's prime day.
I haven't used it yet.
