I quit drinking 2 years ago. I had been a steady 4 or 5/day drinker for at least 10 years. I spent 11 days in CCU and only remember 4 of those days. The doc had already prepared my family for it to end badly.
Only drinking like you have for a few weeks, you can probably quit cold turkey.
