I will tell you right now there is a 93% chance that I am smarter than you, so the narrow minded poke is a trigger.
But... if you can explain why I am narrow minded on wanting to hire a resume instead of hope, I'm ears. Go.
ETA: The 93% is quantifiable. I'm aged in my 40s and very recently sat for a Wonderlic and scored 95 percentile. I'm not dick wagging, I'm letting you know where I stand and giving you the opportunity to state your case.
