Live sports are the only reason to watch ESPN anymore. It's kind of like losing an old friend, if you watched it a lot when you were younger.

Agreed. Will only watch headline games on there now. No thanks to any shows save Finebaum if I have the day off and am bored

I hadn´t watched ESPN from the late 80´s through 2012. Was VERY suprised, both at the growth and the politicism.

I used to have ESPN on all day and I all of my sports related information would be from espn.com. Not anymore. I only watch it for live sports then I immediately turn the channel and I refuse to click on their website.

I agree with the live sports comment. Why the hell does a sports network need to make political statements? Or a spice company? Or PepsiCo? Come on, just shut up and sell your products and services.

That is so true ... and well stated.

It was such the bomb when it launched ... and now they have finally fricked it up.

Let's not forget what happened though - which is even more mind boggling to some of us .... Disney. Disney happened to both ABC and ESPN.

Uncle Walt is twirling in his grave.
