Ah yes, I'm the envy of all my friends since my divorce. But most married guys forget what it's like to be single. When I don't have my kids, I come home to an empty house. No one to talk to. There's no dinner ready for me to eat. My clothes aren't ironed. My house isn't already clean.
Yes, you can go out and meet girls. And sure, it's good for about a minute. But after so long, you get tired of that shite too. Then you think about how nice it would be to meet that one person that you just click with, that you could see yourself being happy to see their face every day. Timing, situation, the right person, it's damn near impossible for all that to line up. Then you start to notice all those sad older guys at the bar, acting a fool. And you pray that God will not let you be that sad looking old guy in the goofy shirt one day.
I don't regret getting married. I just regret marrying the wrong one. To me, marriage is awesome if she's a good woman and treats you right. So my advice for the married guys is if you have a good woman, thank the Lord for her every day.
I met and married the perfect girl, and this right here why the answer is a resounding "no"
Do I think about my single days? Hell yes
But the fact of the matter is, in the words of silk spectre:

I'm 65 years old. Everyday the future looks a little bit darker. But the past, even the grimy parts of it, well, it just keeps on getting brighter all the time.
We have what I like to call "the pasts eye" where we forget the dark moments of our past, and idolize the "fun" things we did.
