The speeches aren't bribes. Lots of former government people (and all former presidents) make a lot of money from speeches.

Colin Powell makes over 200k per speech, and he's been out of government for years.

So a woman who couldn't regularly draw 200 people to listen to her speak for FREE while running for President, will suddenly be able to command 200k a speech again after being roundly defeated in that election? Got it.

Powell is in the $50K range. Nice, but a long shot from $200K.

They did like 500 in a couple years. Obama will get a few but his calendar will be very open comparatively.

And somehow you don't think they are "bribes"



BTW Powell's average speeches were in the 50k range, not the 500k to 1.5 million a speech that both Clintons have been pulling.
