If you give up only 10 points to the #1 team, you should win. The defense did a great job, considering they got zero help from the offense.

Sounds to me like he's saying they didn't tackle for [a full] 4 quarters...60 minutes. That's true and today is "Tell the truth monday". I see nothing wrong with his comment.

No one disagrees with this, and taking a partial statement out of context doesn't mean Coach O disagrees with the statement either.
Does that somehow mean the defense should be complacent with how they played? Does that mean you aren't allowed to critique that phase of the game?
