Agree. Aranda a larger unknown than any candidate.

I meant the check the boxes as a general comment around if a coordinator checks all the boxes, then we shouldn't ignore him because he doesn't have head coaching experience. Ultimately Alleva and the Powers that be need to decide that based on their first-hand knowledge.
I agree that he is somewhat unknown at this point, but we know he is smart, organized, and has an incredible football-acumen. He can go toe-to-toe with the big dogs strategically, and that's huge. His defenses have also been inspired all year long, even with the coaching changes, which tells me he can motivate. His demeanor is very focused and business-like, which is why I drew the comparison to Saban.
We don't know his ability to recruit, hire/fire coaches and manage the team. My gut tells me that he is smart enough to handle those, but those are all things we won't know until he becomes a head coach.
