Don't be so sure. There have been numerous articles about how ESPN is hemorrhaging subscribers.

ESPN ain't going anywhere... And just because ESPN is losing subscribers does not mean people aren't watching live sports in droves, because they are and people will continue to watch live sports in droves.

ESPN will, and already has, began to adapt to digital and a possible a la carte future.

Is the landscape changing for television? Sure, but that's to be expected and has been going on for years and years. It's always changing and evolving with the times.

Live sports will always demand and get a premium, because it's worth it.

The losers/victims will be Home Shopping Network, Discovery Channel, Hallmark, etc.... Not live sports.
