Duh, every team in the SEC is praying LSU hires Coach O. That should tell you all you need to know.

If they know anything about college football they don't.

This is some of the stuff I posted in threads on the "coaching changes" board (where this thread should be). I have RA'd.

Anyway, the opposing teams see what the LSU fans and admin are seeing.

First: They are seeing an offense that is coordinated by a guy who was a tight-ends coach four games ago. A guy who has worked at high schools for 3 of his last 5 jobs. A guy who according to a couple posts I have seen doesn't even want to be the OC.

But yet, this wannabe TE's coach has seen his offense set 3 ALL-TIME LSU offensive records in only 3 games. He has seen his offense outscore opponents 73-7 in the second half of games. 73 second half points in three games !!! His offense has scored 125 points in the three games he has been OC.

LSU has been playing football for 123 years and this guy has set 3 all-time LSU records in three games. That's some crazy shite right there. Not to even mention that guys like Gary Crowton and Jimbo Fisher have been OC's at LSU recently.

All that from a TE's coach. Every team in the SEC has to be hoping that when/or if O is retained, that as bad as it may be for them, he keeps the record-setting Ensminger as OC. They have to be worrying what the hell the LSU offense would be like if CEO hires a proven offensive guru as OC.

Second: I just read Jimmy Details recruiting chat on NOLA.com and to me it looks like Coach O will lock down the boarders of La like it has never been done before. A lot of Jimmy's responses to questions were that this player will be a highly probable flip or will not come to LSU if Coach O is not retained. This is after one month on the job.

Other SEC teams are probably still distraught that Les Miles is gone. LSU finally has the opportunity to reach it's potential.
