can you provide a link to your straw man assertion? Specifically that people are okay losing as long as the coach is from Louisiana.

You've proven abundantly that you're stupid but I don't think you're THIS stupid. Of course, I may be cutting YOU more slack than you deserve.

No one that I know of posted that they'd be okay with Orgeron going 0-12 because he's from Louisiana.

But I've seen multiple posts that folks would be okay, I assume, with not competing consistently for championships. While they haven't elaborated on an exact number or record, I assume they mean they'd be okay with Miles-like numbers for the last five years.

That's why I asked the question--to get some specific information on what Orgeron's Louisiana roots would buy him with folks who feel that way.

There now.

Wasn't that easy?

then post a link to one that said okay with not competing for championships as long as the coach has a Cajun accent and/or is from Louisiana. It's multiple posters so it should be easy.

I read this board pretty regularly and haven't seen any of those posts.

I am not a Cajun and don't care if Orgeron is from Louisiana or not, but if he proves to be a good coach over these remaining games, then he should be given serious consideration for the HC job.
