I guess people that don't like it don't understand what the show is really about. It was a great ride and it will be an unforgettable series to me

Yep that's what a tell people.

I'll grant Freauxen for this, but he said if you more care about the characters and how it ends with them, then it's a wholly satisfying experience. If you just wanted answers though, then you might not have been as satisfied.

Granted, I think some of these clowns would have rather it been a Comic Con panel where the creators answer all the questions rather than have a satisfying conclusion of the characters, although I do have a big problem with Sayid's ending.

Get it right bro!

If you care about the characters, you'll be satisfied. If you care about narrative and storytelling (which yes does involve a cogent plot with sufficient, not all, answers), then you will be dissatisfied.

It's character vs. narrative.

I do not specifically call out answers, because it isn't completely about the answers. It's both about the questions asked, the journey to answers, and the answers themselves. It ALL matters. And Lost failed on major plot points for all three.

It's on my Mount Rushmore. Absolutely loved the series and I loved the finale. Thought it was beautiful

See this is where I am at. I was really into the show in high school then checked out a bit during college and then cut up for the last season. I felt the ending was lame but I wasn't locked in for season 4 or 5 (i think it was 4 or 5)

Also, I think it is a bit chickenshit when people pull the "you don't know what the show was about" When all of y'all where here or the lost forum reading/posting theories out the arse. Half the fun of lost was going on deep dives
